Congratulations and best wishes!

It was a very nostalgic visit for me, for I was able to see all the classrooms from Grades 1 to 10 that I learnt in. The greatest opportunity I had was to be able to meet some of the teachers who taught me and knew me as a student, Mrs. Blodwern Weeratunga, Mrs. Charika Muttiah, Mr. Jayadeva Perera and Mr. Gunasekera. Though I am a Christian (Catholic), I studied Buddhism in school, and I took the opportunity to go to chapel and remember and pray to all the teachers who taught me and moulded me to who I am now, among them, Mr. J. S. L. Fernando, Mrs. Sita de Silva, Mrs. Constance (Consy) Perera, Mrs. Gunawardena, Mrs. Kamala Wagiswara, Mr. Samarasekera, Ms Christobel Dwight, Mrs. Carmen de Silva, Major D. V. Chapman, Mr. G. C. Mendis, Mr. B. R. N. Mendis, Mrs. Paramasothy, Mr. Maurice Weragoda, Mrs. Dana Perera, Mrs. Fonseka, Mr. Nihal Peiris, Mr. Gunasinghe, Ms Rosemary de Silva, Mrs. Sarojini Thevanayagam, Mr. Dixon Arasaratnam, Mr. Bala and Mrs. Sushila Navaratnarajah, Mrs. Nesiah, Mr. Peiris (Oriental Music), Mr. Arthur Silva and Mr. Sunil Jayathunga, to name a few. There are many teachers, whose names I have missed, as my memory fails me, since it is 44 years since I left the corridors of Prep School, to attend College in Mount Lavinia.

To Shiran Wijesinghe.....Awe this was so interesting to read even though I don't know you.thankyou for sharing your nostalgic memories.my only contact with your school is that my baptism was performed by my favourite priest Father Nihal Fernando.
