We are saddened to inform the Prep community of the passing of Mr. N. Mylvaganam, a former teacher of Tamil and History and Sectional Head of the Middle School at Prep. He passed away on 26th December after a brief illness. Those who studied under him will remember his calm manner, kindness, and dedication to his students. She is the beloved mother of Monroe Jayasuriya (1999 Batch) and the loving sister of Ms. Blodwen Weeratunga, who also served as a teacher at Prep. A wonderful throwback to 1983, featuring a track from “Christmas with Noeline”, telecast on Rupavahini, where the S. Thomas’ Prep School Choir contributed the backing vocals. Special appreciation to our Prep choristers for their role in this iconic production, which remains a memorable part of Sri Lanka’s Christmas television history. Truly a proud moment for the Prep community.
