🏅 STPS Annual Sports Meet 2026 🏅
The Annual Sports Meet was held today, 12th February 2026, at the Air Force Grounds, amidst great enthusiasm and true Prep spirit.
We were honoured to have as our Chief Guest Sudantha Soysa, a distinguished Alumnus, former national tennis champion and elite coach, together with his wife, Mrs. Theekshana Ratnasekera Soysa, a Sri Lankan national swimmer, as our Guests of Honour.
A big congratulations to Carpenter-Garnier House for emerging as the overall champions of the day — your teamwork and determination were outstanding!
We also warmly congratulate all the boys on their exceptional performances, sportsmanship, and team spirit displayed throughout the day. You have made Prep proud.
Our sincere appreciation goes to the Headmaster and the dedicated staff for organising and conducting the event in an outstanding manner.
The OBU also extends its gratitude to the Headmaster for inviting us to be part of this special occasion.

The S. Thomas’ Preparatory School Old Boys’ Union is delighted to highlight a wonderful initiative by the Prep Batch of ’98. 💙
The Prep Batch of 1998 generously donated funds to S. Thomas’ Preparatory School towards the purchase of three Smart Boards, funded entirely from the proceeds of Night of Rhythm 2025. The cheque was officially handed over to the Headmaster on 26th January 2026.
The Batch of ’98 has consistently been among the most active and engaged batches, continuously contributing their time, effort, and resources in support of the School. We congratulate the Batch on this meaningful contribution and thank everyone who supported this effort.
We hope this inspiring initiative will encourage other Prep batches to come forward with similar projects, as collective effort plays a vital role in strengthening and uplifting our beloved school.
The OBU looks forward to working closely with the Batch on future initiatives as we continue to support and uplift Prep together.
